The Somatic-Relational Rewiring Method™

The SRR Method™ is Alyssa’s four-stage approach to changing emotional and relational patterns through the body, not only through understanding.

  1. Safety. Creating safety in the body to feel what you feel.
  2. Movement. Letting stuck emotion move, instead of thinking it through.
  3. Meeting. Finding the need under the feeling, and learning to meet it yourself.
  4. Choice. Communicating needs and boundaries clearly, and choosing what’s aligned.

What makes her work distinctive

Clinical depth. Alyssa trained through about 15 supervised practicum, internship and residency placements in hospital, university and clinic settings during her master’s and PhD at Concordia University, working with people facing a wide range of difficulties and goals. She was particularly drawn to people living with complex relational trauma, especially from emotional needs that went chronically unmet in childhood.

Body-based, not just talk. Her coaching is somatic and mindfulness-based. She works with what clients feel in their bodies, not only what they think, and gives them practical tools for everyday life and for intense moments.

Ancient wisdom, if you want it. Alyssa has deeply studied and practiced Kabbalah for three years, and she guides meditation. She brings the spiritual side in only when a client wants it, always alongside an everyday way of seeing it.

Direct and kind. She tells clients the truth, asks before she pushes, and doesn’t offer quick fixes.

Independence, not dependence. From the first session, she teaches clients to work with their own inner experience, so they can do for themselves what she does in session.

Learned by living it. Alyssa studies, experiments, applies, teaches and learns, all iteratively. Everything she guides clients through, she practices in her own life.

The questions behind her work

Two questions have guided Alyssa’s life and work for decades. What do we want most, and how do we create or receive it, deliberately? And what are the spiritual and energetic laws of the universe, and how do we live in alignment with them?

Her mission is to help people deeply understand how to care for themselves and others, so that creating inner peace and alignment becomes a widely understood skill and capacity.

In clients’ words

“I no longer get my sense of self-worth from how I think others view me. I cannot express how liberating this is!” — Tim Ulmer, Montreal
